For the sugar industry, special stress-free mechanical seals were developed, independent of the direction of rotation and suspended by springs out of the middle, in our standard version the O-rings are made of Viton and the faces of carbide tungsten.

Technology
The world's lowest pulsation is just one of the outstanding properties of Herold W's innovative pump technology. Suction sealing lines and casing discharge area match the sinusoidal and cosinusoidal configuration of the rotors. This prevents turbulence. Due to the aerodynamic shape of the suction and discharge, the risk of cavitation is reduced.





Compared to ordinary rotor pumps, the Herold WK's rotors are rotated 90 °. Its optimized sinusoidal design implements a superior opening area at the same angle of rotation, responsive pumping, and lower flow rate.
